white page after loading prestshop

Hi,

I upload all Prestashop files via Filezilla to my web adress in a specific file www.blablabla.com/prestashop/ but when I want to install PrestaShop I have a white page (with error 404).

Anybody to help me ?

in the demo video, he said "As soon as you reach your website" what does it means exactly ?

did you upload the files corectly?

do you get anything in the error_log?

classique me dire vous,  j'ai re uploader list_header.tpl  et vidé  cache/smarty et cache smarty/compile en

gardant a chaque fois index.

1) Seems that your CHMOD are not correct set. Please see here the same problem and solution: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/60420-is-setting-chmod-to-777-dangerous/?do=findComment&comment=1526656

 

2) Check also your server settings needed for to run Prstashop 1.5. without problems:

• magic_quotes_gpc = off
• memory_limit = 128M min. (better 256M)
• max_execution_time = 300
• max_input_time = 300
• upload_max_filesize = 20M
• post_max_size = 20M
• max_input_vars = 5000
• allow_url_fopen = on
• safe_mode = off
• cURL - for Paypal and other services with API can to be work
• mod_rewrite = on

 

At least:

3) Deinstall the non native module listorgridswitch, if the module is not compatible to PS version smarty version it too causes a white page.

Ask your provider for to chek server settings.

 

CHMOD you can check on your FTP with Filezilla.

 

Deinstall module: Back-Office -> modules -> listorgridswitch (if it is a module and not a component of your Theme). If it is a component of your theme you should ask for debug directly from developer.
