texxo Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Dear friends, i am using 1.5.4.1 and until before a while all emails were being send normally to the customer after he was placing his order. I have allowed only Preparation and Order confirmation emails to be send to him and an alert to me the administrator. Strangely enough, like the last 5 days, some notification emails are being send, some of them not. I can see this because in the Orders i see the increasing number of the order but not the email in my email box. Also, i have tested myself to place orders and sometimes i receive the emails correctly and sometimes not. Did someone experienced the same thing and if yes, did he managed to solve it so as to inform me also of the solution? I noticed that sometimes it takes kind of a lot of time to go to the confirmation screen (on the website) after confirming the order in the last step. Some times it is pretty fast. jbond Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Hi, I just started experiencing the same problem on 1.5.6.0. I send test email from customer service or from orders placed and not only I stopped receiving the emails as a test customer but also order confirmations on my email as the shop. But sometimes it sends. If I test my email from hosting provider or my email client I can send and receive fine. Interested to see the solutions. Until recently, my customers are able to receive log-in details and order confirmation details, but all of a sudden, no more emails are being sent from my shop. i tried registering a test account to check if I would be able to receive log-in details after registering, but I received none. i tried placing an order as well, no order confirmation email. Checked Spam folder, not there either. Please help as this really hinders my customers from processing/placing their orders. Really would appreciate it! Now get the same issue with sometimes getting order notification to admin and sometimes nothing, though the order shows up in the back office and the customer seems to receive a confirmation. Turns out the emails from prestashop for order notification to me are done in some different way that my hosting IX HOSTING sends them via relay servers and those sometimes seem to have problems and cause emails to either get lost or very delayed, sometimes up to 24 hours.
