1 click upgrade - any issues I need to know about?

Hi folks

 

I want to upgrade from 1.5.4.0 to the latest version.

 

Before I try the 1 click upgrade what do I need to be aware of?

 

Please give me your views about eh module.

 

What I don't understand is why there is so much info available for manual upgrading (and so many issues raised)........

 

I confess to not feeling confident about the backup process or the upgrade.

 

Any help would be most welcome
