SSL Problems Please help me, im going crazy.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, i am new to all this i am just learning but im a quick learner.

My site is www.fantasycostumes.eu (which redirects to www.jarmandistribution.eu which then redirects to where my shop is which is www.jarmandistribution.eu/fantasycostumes/shop Sorry its just my hosting company can not redirect directly to the shop folder grrr.

Anyways i have got an ssl cert (rapid ssl currently on the free trial.

On my webserver i request cert, which gave me and private file and a cert file. I used the cert file key to register with rappid. They then gave me the proper certified key which i installed on my webserver and assigned it to www.jarmandistribution.eu along with my ip.

Ok everything seems fine and it says all installed. great.

Now i have a separate folder for ssl files (i think) which goes into a folder called secure/htpdocs

Does that mean i must copy all files from my htdocs (unsecured) to the secure/htdocs?

If i do that do i have to change every single file to that all pictures shop up correctly etc? or is there an automated way in the back office?

Sorry if my explanation is terrible im still learning :)

Ok think ih ave done it, i copied all files to the secure directory.

But if i install a module in the back off will it configure it for both folders? (if you understand what i mean)

ALso very BIG problem with paypal api, my shop is in EEK, but paypal only accept EURO. I have Euro currency on my site and i set the paypal module for euros. Ok everything is great when they select pay paypal it will go to euros. Now when the information is passed onto paypal it is in euros but not the converted euros, basically if an item was 98 EEK when it goes to paypal instead of using the currencies conversion in prestashop (which is correct at the end of checkout) it passes it on as 98 EUR.......very bad as 98 eek is like 7 EUR lol

How do i fix this?
