product with nostock doesnt show availability

Hello,
i am not sure this is a bug.
If is enable to order product which is not in stock, cart doesnt show the availability at all. Actually in product list it is displayed as "On stock"
If is disable to order product which is not in stock, it shows "This product is no longer in stock" well
And if product is in stock, after all is displayed my customized availability.
Its a bit confusing but main thing is, if you can order product wich is not in stock, there should be some availability for sure.
At least i would prefer like this.
