Etern1ty
Hello everyone! I've just installed the last prestashop version (1.5.6), then enabled url rewriting and tried to make an order. When I went to order page I got a redirect loop error. I work on localhost and the URL is "http://presta/order". Other urls work fine as far as I can see I tried to play with settings at SEO&URL page but with no success What might be wrong? Thanks in advance
vekia
can you change /order/ for example to /checkout/ ? you can change it under "edit" page of "order" page: it's a part of "preferences > seo & urls"
J.Sahu
yes sometimes it happens in local host but it's not a problem in server, If your server has rewrite engine on then you'll see no problem. Try the solution of Vekia if you still get the problem then test this in a server.l
Etern1ty
The solution works perfectly. But I'm a little bit confused as I got such error after installation on clean prestashop. This means that other users must get this error as well, and it seems like a bug? Not sure I understand how it works: I thought I should've some other page "order" so I got undefined behaviour or kind of but there is no another "order" page Thanks by the way! vekia
unfortunately, it's not a bug in prestashop, by default - it works. if i were you, i will deal with settings under prefrences > seo & urls tab. try to disable apache multiviews etc.
