Categories don't show up

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Im newbie on Prestashop. Im using Prestashop 1.5.4.1 and perfectum template.
The categories dessapear in some pages of my prestashop. On live edit the module position is fine, but is not showing at all. Why could be the reason? I add a screenshot. I don't know where to search, please help me.

Here the categories aren't showing up:

go to modules > positions

click on edit button near categories module on displayLeftColumn modules list

you will see there form with module & hook specification

verify if there are some exceptions

Hi Vekia! Thanks for reply.

I checked but there wasn't any exceptions at all. If I apply it...it would desappear the module on live edit. I make this move for other page and it happens.

Also I tried to transplant categories block module and it didn't work. I'm using the Categories block Version 2.0 by Prestashop...here is:

I did not. This is an screen from this module:

There is a way to make exceptions manually, directly on the archives? I dont mean in the position module administration panel of prestashop. There is a way? Someone start this site before me and he is not here anymore. Im not sure what he did.

Thanks!

That would be the preferred way to add exceptions, but since we don't see anything there, but also clearly see it's not showing in certain categories, something else must have been modified.

You can try to check if there were any changes made to the category block module, first try the default theme, then try to compare the module files to the ones in the original copy of Prestashop (same version) or your theme.

Let us know what you find.
