HunChris
Hi!I have a problem which was already discussed in previous threads, e.g.:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/24945/help_installation___upgrade/installation_wizard_stopshttp://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/10342/help_installation___upgrade/stuck_on_step_2_of_installation_next_button_seems_to_be_disabledrefuses_to_show_me_checklisthttp://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/11465/help_installation___upgrade/freeze_at_system_and_permissions_pagehttp://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/6192/help_installation___upgrade/stuck_on_page_2_of_installationhttp://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/5048/help_installation___upgrade/problems_with_instalationSo basically on step 2 of installation my checklist is empty although I can see the list if I select the text on the page and copy/paste it to a text editor. For me the "progressbar" is not stuck in continuous processing state, it is visible only for a short while. What I have already tried from the above threads: re-upload files, re-apply rights, checked firebug console (no error), checked Error console of FireFox (no relevant error). My page is on 000webhost right now. One of the threads suggested that "settings are hidden" on free hosting. Anyone has any idea what the user tried to say here?I have also tried to set all permissions to 777 for all files and folders, just for testing, but the result was the same. Also another thread suggested that Javascript might not be enabled (in that thread it was on GoDaddy). Shouldn't I be getting different error message in this case? If no, how could I check if Javascript is enabled or not?In Firebug, I have to enable scripts and put a checkmark next to "Break on all errors" to properly see errors, right?None of the threads give me real solution. Anyone has any suggestions, please?Thank you,Chris

HunChris
Another example of how a bad search string can lead you astray Thank you very much for your help!
Patric
I just typed "000webhost step 2" in the search tool. ;-) So I mark the topic as [solved].
