Randaal
I've been looking for an answer for a long time now so I hope I find it here. I have a running Prestashop 1.5.6.0 store and right now I have some products in stock but I have ordered another package with some products that I already have in stock. How do I "update" the amount by adding the amount to the already existing amount in stock? Every CSV import I have found was to create or update products already in the store but all I want to do is add an amount without the need to manually rewrite the actual stock. Maybe it is pretty hard to understand what I am asking so ask me anything to explain. Thanks in advance for your help
sev7n
On the product page, at combinations tab if you click the pencil to edit your product, you can chose "stock movement". You can increase, decrease, restock etc your stock.. I've been looking for an answer for a long time now so I hope I find it here. Randaal
if I click on a pencil I can edit the combinations options but not the stock movement. At least I can't find it And the second thing is when I don't have product combinations then I can't edit it in there
Randaal
is it something with Advanced stock management? Because I remember having some issues in the past when I wanted to try it out to see what it does and how it works
alwaysperplexed
I think there is a problem *if* you have enabled ASM in the past and then disabled it, because I have just found this out today that I could not update the stock by using product > quantities. I tried ASM but it caused other problems so I switched it off, now I try to update stock quantities via product > quantities and although it says "saving data" it actually doesn't change anything. Could it be that once you enable ASM, and then disable it, something doesn't get switched off but should? Like the stock managment/movement option? What needs to happen is that when you switch ASM off, then it should be as if it had never been enabled, with nothing leftover.
