Broken themes

Greetings,

Recently i discovered Presta shop and i decided to use it on a new e-shop im creating.

Although i have installed 5 themes so far, none seems to work so far. Even the default one which is installed with Prestashop doesnt work. the link is www.techspot-electronics.gr so you can check it.

Any idea of what might be going wrong?

looking forward a solution into this because i really want to use Presta shop features for building up eshops.

your shop doesn't load css and js files correctly.

your shop trying to load files from:

 

it mean that your "domain" or "base uri" fields aren't configured correctly, please check it under preferences > seo & urls tab in bo

Hello Vekia, 

here is the seo & url settings as they were all this time.

 

Shop domain

 

SSL domain

 

Base URI

//

 

 

When i add to the base URI the same URL it loads up this link in the website  http://www.techspot-electronics.gr/http:/www.techspot-electronics.gr/el/  which ofcourse doesnt work.

What values should i use in these fields?

Sorry for noobish questions, but im new into this and i need to learn it asap.

Try using one / instead of two in Base URI.

Hello stottycabanas,

thats what i tried few minutes ago, and the overall appearance got a bit better, but if you check the website, its still a mess. but a better mess than before..

i also tried changing some settings in the URL menu but nothing so far.

and its the same messed up situation on all the themes im testing. 6 so far.

i cant figure out what is wrong.

i did the installation of Prestashop via the cPanel easy installation, everything wen fine, i uploaded new themes via ftp to the correct directory but....

can you figure out what might be wrong?
