JohnnySnow
I'm using paypal module 3.6.1 and PrestaShop™ 1.5.4.1 every couple of orders, paypal will not charge the customer the VAT, The order totals passed from the checkout are correct and the VAT is being paid on the shipping example: unit price : £43:94 VAT 20% : £8.79 Shipping : £12.50 VAT 20% : £2.50 Total : £67.73 Total charged by paypal : £58.94 (£8.79 less) The VAT in the back end is using the uk 20% tax rule so it seems that presta's calculations are correct but Paypal isn't charging the VAT on the actual product anyone else ever experienced this? chris0241
I'm experiencing this on Presta 1.6.0.9... orders via the eBay module are being charged EX VAT.
garyjj127
I've just seen your post regarding PayPal VAT, and wondered if you have had any success solving it? I have exactly the same problem!
chris0241
I narrowed the problem down to the "official" eBay module. It randomly changes prices on eBay listings and knocks them down to the exc VAT price (yet still includes VAT to the customer). Does this make sense? In effect it's giving a 20% discount randomly! Products are then randomly corrected too. I've been in touch with 202 Commerce the company that wrote it but their support is non-existent. They ignore emails and promise to respond "the next day" when I phone ut I never get replies or fixes. Chris http://www.PROtastic.co.uk
garyjj127
Chris0241 Yep that's pretty much the problem I'm having. I did contact 202 and they replied around a week later with an e-mail saying "provide FTP and account access". I didn't think this was a particularly good idea in light of the problems we're already having!!
