amberg Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hi all,im new to this forum. Ive been trying to find a solution to the unsecure content error message i get everytime i go on my website. I really dont know how to fix it. I fixed it on my computer by going on internet options but when people view my website they get the same error message. Its really bugging me, and i dont undersand how to fix is as i have viewed threads on this forum with the same kind of problem. The solution seems too complicated to me, can anyone please give me some step-by-step guidance on how to fix it? zeiser50 Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Some images on your page are not secured : image from tfl.gov.uk, sound img.tfd.com, ...To see the unsecure items with firefox, you click twice on the right down angle (where there is the alert sign) , and select second icone 'media'.All the lines which are not started with https are not secured and will generate a warning. Yes your right, however how can i fix this, as im using a gadget from the gadgets provided on google sites. When I click to view the html of the gadgets i get: I found the http words (by Ctrl and F) and so turned them into https, however then my gadgets wouldnt show up anymoreThere are a few parts that have numbering between the http and www would that effect anything? (i would say if the web site that provides you the gadget is not https, then is it possible ?). I resolved my issue by replacing my header.tpl file with a fresh one from the prestashop template. Different types of browsers provide the different error messages. In order to disable this just go to internet options and change the settings according to that.
