webox
I recently signed up for an affiliate program for ebooks, yet I am having a slight difficulty understanding what is meant by landing page. The affiliation site instructions is telling me to edit the landing page, which it says is http://site.com/store/ So I figured, surely the landing page then has to be /store/index.php - yet when I add the code and try to visit the website, I am simply getting a blank page. Am I editing the wrong file, and if so, what file or where should I go to make the edit? Thank you. NemoPS
Yes, it's the homepage (index). However, you must edit index.tpl (themes/themename folder) toadd the code, not index.php Is the code php, or something else?
Burhan BVK
If it is a javascript code you should paste it in the Home text editor module using the "edit HTML source" button.
vekia
hello everything depends on code that you have to add. if it is simple html / js you can use free html box module to insert it if it is simple html / js but with some dynamic variables, you have to modify template .tpl files if it is php code - you have to modify controllers for example: frontController
