Guest
Hi All Just a little warning note for all those who are using Skrill / Moneybookers They made some changes a while ago that went under my radar. Firstly they introduced a Gateway fee (depending on your transaction level) and I believe they changed their holdback to 180 days This means, they keep a % of your taking for 180 days in case of chargebacks We stopped using Skrill a while ago. We had problems with their module and it was just being ignored. So, we stopped using it in October. I have now decided to cancel the the account totally. I logged in to find that we were being charged a gateway fee - shock ! So, ok hands up my fault. We disabled the module but did not cancel the account. So I have now told them to cancel the account and transfer all the funds out They have cancelled the account, but will not transfer the full balance for that 180 days WOW So, a warning. If you want to stop using Skrill plan well ahead. Let them know well in advance so that you do not incur any gateway fees while they earn interest on the money they won;t give you back for 180 days
tuk66
I cancelled my account several months ago. They held my funds for 5 months before allowing to withdraw and guess what? I paid 5 times €10 only waiting to withdraw.
