removing manufacturers and suppliers links from footer

my shop doesn't need manufacturers and suppliers so they are blank in the catalog section.

 

but there are still links in the footer section I can't get rid of. I don't want clients being able to find dead ends or pages with nothing on them.

Most probably you need to uninstall those module from backoffice.

Make sure you have log in back office

1. Click on Modules>Modules

2. Find "Best suppliers","Suppliers Block" and "Manufacturers block " modules in Module Category section "Front Office Features". You can see in left corner.

3. Now uninstall indiviually one by one.

they are not in the site map at least when they were disabled, I uninstalled but links remain.

Our offers links should be edited in /themes/themeXXX/modules/blockcms/blockcms.tpl file. Where themeXXX is your theme folder name.

 

find the lines concerning manufacturers and suppliers and delete them.

why not with default prestashop translation tool ? localization > translations, from dropdow select installed modules translations, from second your theme, then click on flag and .... just translate it
