thehippyhole
Hi there, I have updated the global css files to allow me to use my won background image and change the colour of the footer/header. It has all worked on firefox on my laptop however the changes are not showing on any other device or even on IE on my laptop. Does anyone have any idea why the changes would show on my copy of firefox and run without any issue but then not appear on any other device or browser? Thanks Edited January 4, 2014 by thehippyhole (see edit history)
vekia
please share url to your website. in cases like this (css) it's almost impossible to help without access to your website.

thehippyhole
Managed to get the footer to show in blue, I hadn't cleared my cache which was causing that problem but the background image is still not showing outside of my copy of firefox. PascalVG
You use the full path from the server on, which isn't accessibe for the outside world: 'https://server58.web-hosting.com:2083/cpsess324574951/viewer/home%2fwwwtqhmv%2fpublic_html%2fimg/finalgroovy.jpg' Add this path instead: '../../../img/finalgroovy.jpg' Which gives this result: Hope that is what you wanted :-) pascal. PascalVG
P.S. Reason why it worked in firefox was probably because you were logged in to your server using firefox during that time, allowing the browser to get to the file using that path as it didn't have to login anymore. :-) My 2 cents, pascal
