walidon
Hi, I want to know how to edit the .htaccess which is in the root without getting errors? I want to have the website accessible only via a password, so I created the .htpassword and a .htaccess, I copied the content of my .htaccess and posted in the .htaccess of prestashop, but I got a 500 error! no matter where I put the code it doesn't work! Any solution or tips about this or it is impossible to modify that because prestashop regenerates the file autimatically! Thank you in advance. vekia
prestashop regenerates code between: # ~~start~~ Do not remove this comment, Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again CODE HERE # ~~end~~ Do not remove this comment, Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again as you can see: Prestashop will keep automatically the code outside this comment when .htaccess will be generated again so just use your code after this. may i know what code you trying to use? i will test it on my own
