shop not working after upgrade!

hi, i upgraded my prestashop from 1.4.11 to 1.5.6 using the 1-click upgrade.. had made complete backup and the upgrade also went well.. was successful.. but now the frontend doesnt display at all!!!

the backend also has messy menus.. thought it was a template issue and installed a new one but doesnt seem to help.. pls help..even default template is ok for me..

Messy backend menus usually goes away with a ctrl F5 in the browser. For other errors, turn on error reporting from the config/defines.inc.php file, ps_dev_mode true and display errors on. That should give you some messages.

ok thanks for the help.. fixed backend by deleting the other theme and switching to default.. but frontend has error which says.

seems a conflict with smarty.. is it? any help..

Iam no smarty expert, but why dont you try replacing the default theme folder after upgrade with a fresh new prestashop 1.5.6.1 folder? Maybe its missing some files from the template as the error says.

in your code i found bug:

/home/deb26001n7/domains/allbusinesstemplates.com/public_html/themes//header.tpl

 

there is no theme name! this causing issue you've got

 

what theme you use?

I believe he has selected default theme at the moment from back office.
