pszilard
Working on my 1st shop. The logo in Preferences/Themes/Appearances is stretched to interfere with the grey nav bar. I tried making the JPG shorter, but the standard theme stretches it. Can you tell me how to control the height, not to stretch, or to make the height smaller so it doesn't impact on the Nav Bar? Thanks... (ps: Happy New Year, folks) pps: Site is www.advancemirrors.com.au

pszilard
Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle, you are right! It must have been a cache issue in Firefox on my Mac. I rechecked it and it is fine. Thanks for looking at it. Nice to know also, that the geolocation switch works. I would be most appreciative if you could also help me with the top Search field... Thanks,
Ray UK
Ah you have sorted it. If you logo is staying as that, you may want to increase the size and position. Inside your theme directory, the header.tpl file has the logo size there. This is mine. <a href="{$base_dir}" title="{$shop_name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}"> <img class="logo" src="{$logo_url}" alt="{$shop_name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" width="460" height="90" /> </a></div> Also, you can make the white space above the image a bit less in your global.css file like the image I have attached. ( Changed top from 30px to 10px, and make the div wider )I only added overflow:hidden because your logo.jpg has lots of white space to the right of it Edited January 1, 2014 by MerseyRay (see edit history)
