How do I fix a broken connection from the category drop down menu?

Hi,

When in front office, I select the category of a product I want to see, and it lists all the products in that category to choose from, except when I move the cursor over the product I want to select then it will not click on it. I can see it, but it disappears as soon as I move the cursor off the product category. How can I fix this?
