[SOLVED] Order and Registration Modifications

Hi all 

I need to make a few edits on the registration and order view. Running PS 1.5.6.1 and not default template.

 

1. I want the login box and registration box to be beside each other - see image:

2. I need to remove the newsletter and special offer options in the registration - see image:

 

3. Is there a workaround to make the 5-step payment even easier? I saw for example this site with only 2-step: http://www.elux.dk/bestilling

username: [email protected]
password: 12345

Anyone who knows how to do this in the proper way:

Go to the root of your Theme (root/themes/your-theme) folder

and look for the authentification.tpl

 

look for both terms newsletters and special offers, use the search option in your text editor to find them.

 

then delete them.

but becareful there two of them it means you will find them replicated so delete both of them.

if you can't find them attach your file and i will do the job for you.

Thanks for your answer. I commented out the newsletters and special offers in authentification.tpl and now they are gone from the registration page as I wanted. But I can still see them on my personal information when logged in on this page: 

http://buyzaaptv.dk/identitet

You can try login with the test account:

username: [email protected]

password: 12345

From where can I remove those? thanks.

Step 1 and 2 is solved by editting in the authentification.tpl and a little change in identity.tpl.

Also I editted five-steps.css to ahieve the look I wanted.

 

Now there is only step 3 left - any easier way to make order and payment ?
