Chi-VIP
My 1-Click Upgrade was successful, but my shop was blank, so I tried to turn on error-reporting and now it shows this and I don't really know what to do Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 149Strict Standards: Creating default object from empty value in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 155Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 171Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/Tools.php on line 425Strict Standards: Creating default object from empty value in /var/www/web27/web/classes/Tools.php on line 444Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$customer in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 173Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 173Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 186Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 186Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 233Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 233Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 234Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 234Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 235Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 235Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$shop in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 236Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 236Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$shop in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 237Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 237Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$cookie in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 238Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 238Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to CartRuleCore::autoAddToCart() must be an instance of Context, instance of stdClass given, called in /var/www/web27/web/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 252 and defined in /var/www/web27/web/classes/CartRule.php on line 1077 Edited January 1, 2014 by Chi-VIP (see edit history)

Prescol
In my case the problem was originated in the override folder. I had a folder in my old prestashop version (1.4) called "hide". Here i had some override files that when i needed i moved to "override/classes". But it seems that prestashop 1.6 search for all files inside override folder, without taking consideration of where or in what subfolder the override file is in origin, so it overrides and can cause a lot of errors. Solution: Move away anyfile you don´t need from the folder "override" and it subfolders. bellini13
Or disable overrides and non-PS modules when you do the autoupgrade. This way Prestashop will not even attempt to load them. Then after the upgrade is complete, and you have tested the CORE functionality of Prestashop, then you can enable overrides and non-PS modules and decide is they require updates themselves.
