fadedsuede
Hello all ~ I have been using Prestashop for a few years and am reasonably well experienced. I currently started a new shop using the latest Prestashop version 1.5.6.1 I created my CSV file as I have for all other versions. Uploaded it using the CSV tool in the backoffice. Set the selection to PRODUCTS Field Separator is a "comma" All of the other tick boxes are left blank (during my first test run). I proceed to the next page - SKIP 1st LINE is already checked. All columns are confirmed aligned correctly... and I proceed to import. Within 2 ~ 3 seconds, I get the following error messages: A1 Medium Difco 218231 500g (ID: 218231) cannot be saved Property Product->depth is not valid AC Broth Difco 231710 500g (ID: 231710) cannot be saved Acetate Differential Agar Difco 274210 500g (ID: 274210) cannot be saved.........(and several hundred more) I dont know why this feature is not functioning like all other versions have for me. I also tried to both define what the product ID are by simply duplicating the 'Reference' as well as leaving it blank so that the system can autogenerate the ID number. Both variations resulted in the same error. Im confuzzled......
RogueWaveLimited
I think it's trying to tell you that the "depth" dimension is not set to a number. Set it to zero and I think that will do it for you. You'll also need to set height and width to numbers as well - zeros work fine.
fadedsuede
Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, there is no "dimensions" and no "product - depth" in my CSV spreadsheets - I tried to look at a spreadsheet example offered in the CSV section but the samples linked in the BO are corrupted SYLK files - not the appropriate CSV file example I was hoping. I indeed do see Width Height Depth in the "available fields" listing in the right margin of the CSV module, but I dont use those fields in my CSV because they arent an attribute. Im thinking that there must be some other setting in the BO that I need to check or uncheck. Any ideas?
fadedsuede
Thank you for your help. I need to drink coffee - fully caffeinated. the reason for the error is because the headings in the BO when reviewing my CSV file were "off" by one column. Now, where did I put my creamer..... RogueWaveLimited
Yes, height, width and depth are the fields I'm referring to. Add them to your CSV and set them to zero. See if that works.
