ledaanbieder
I hear many people claim that PS 1.5.6.1 Multi Store will share also the products, but unfortunately it doesn't in our stores. In the main store 'ledaanbieder.nl' we've got 2300 products, but if we go to another store there are none. While adding a new store you can share all other things like orders, but with products it seems that 'sharing' is just making a copy of the catalog. So, if we go to the main shop that has 'shared' the catalog with the secondary shop (in the same group) and add a new product... It won't appear in the secondary. What is going wrong here? How can I really share the main catalog with ALL multistores inclusive all changes I make afterwards?
El Patron
when you add a new product are you setting the context for a single shop or all shops in that group?
ledaanbieder
El Patron, In our catalog we have selected 'All shops' as context and then made a new product. This one does indeed show up in all other multishops! But all other products do not... How can I make these many products move to the context off 'All shops' ? Can I do that in PHPmyAdmin or is there another simple way to do that? Thanks in advance! If you have the solution, we will add a permanent thank you on our website! El Patron
my feeling is to either delete one of the additional shops and regenerate making sure to share products or create a test shop and test it that way. when you create the additional shop, and share products you should see them across shops. make sure to review the ps guide for anything that might be causing you an issue http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+Multiple+Shops
