Missing native modules

Hi everyone,

 

I'm a very newbie with Prestashop and now really confused about an issue.

Yesterday, I installed one instance of Prestashop v1.5.6.1, after that I deleted. I remembered there were about 120 native modules. 

Today, I've just try to install another instance, but only 88 modules on the back end management system. Now I want to install an theme but cannot find the "Import/export a theme" module.

Thank you bros for all your support. 

It's my fault not to make the problem clear.

The main problem "missing module" is still remaining. I think that there were something wrong with cache or server.

The minor problem "unable to install the theme" was resolved by the tuk66's solution. Thanks bro

for some, this is a good way without understanding github.

 

so if you are missing a module...or just feeling lucky, the search in modules, and if not installed on your shop, will install from addon's is a nice feature indeed.

You might have one of these 2 issues:

1 you are missing modules which come in the archive

2 you are missing modules which prestashop grabs online.

 

Do you have, say, Paypal in the list?

i think that the problem related to second option provided by nemo .

what about get_page_contents function, have you got possibility to use it? maybe it's blocked on your host?
