Urbanfarmer
Hi......I was getting ready to start changing all the default prestashop.com link url's that come with the initial install. For instance: making it so that when a customer clicks on a product image in the homeslider, they are re-directed to that product page instead of prestashop.com. But then I realized that all of the url's in the test mode are sub-domain (www.presta.myshop.com). When I go live the url will be (www.myshop.com). Will I have to change all internal links to remove the sub-domain before I go live? Or is there a mechanism that does this automatically? Otherwise I will have an awful lot of links to change. NemoPS
It depends on which links you want to change. Can you show us the live site? As for the homeslider, you can change links from the back office, modules, image slider on the homepage, and change each slide's link
vekia
everything depends on a module/part of page about what you're talking. by default, well coded features (external modules) changing urls automatically, sometimes - specially when you have to define url manually (like url in slider) you have to change them manually too.
