import xml/csv problem

Hi.

 

I AM having a trouble importing the field "description" from my ERP to PS.

 

Either i export XML or CSV, the import process puts all information in just one line , not considerating the pharagraphs in the file that are correctly exported

 

Any way to import this field having it assume the pharagraphs?

Can you share a brief example of the description you are adding? Prestashop accepts html for the description, are you using p tags? Or normal line breaks?

I don't know much about coding, but i think this has no tags

If it has no tags, then I'm afraid they can't be converted into line breaks.

You should use whether a list (<ul> with <li> in each line) or <br/> tags at the end of each line

I am doomed... i have this 11000 articles, i cannot do that for all

Find someone who can make a script that does this for you, shouldn't be 2 difficult.
