indus
Maybe a dedicated server can be considered if you expect 50,000 hits a day. But one good unmanaged VPS i hear a lot about is linode.com. I personally use digitalocean as my VPS cos they have plans as low as 5 $ a month. Its a relatively new provider so in your case linode might be a good option. Try some cloud services in your case too like the famous Amazon web services, or Rackspace. These two are giants in their field if you can afford it Edited January 2, 2014 by indus (see edit history)
