Unable to access my Website's FO and BO

Hi,

 

I am unable to access my website's front office as well as back office as it is giving me this error..

 

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1135] Can't create a new thread (errno 11); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug

 

I was modifying tax % of some products from BO and while doing that, this happened all of a sudden.

 

Please Help.

Can you access your hosting cpanel and database? It might just be down. Are the site and database running on the same server?

Hi Nemo,

 

Yes I am able to access the hosting panel and database. Site and the database are on the same server, I am using godaddy's shared hosting plan.

Can you check if settings are still correct on config/settings.inc.php?

They are as it is. I just checked. Before getting this error, for every product's price/tax I was modifying, everytime I clicked 'save', it was giving me a message page cannot be found and everytime I had to reload.

Any chance the database got overloaded? Can you check with your hosting company? Also, try enabling error display as suggested in my signature

I just tried logging into the phpmyadmin and it is giving me the same error and I am unable to login.

Okay Thanks a lot Nemo. But could you please let me know if this is something very serious? I have been working on this website for months and now when I just completed it and about to launch, this happened. If this is database overload, can this be revived?

I was just reading the same article, where can I find this../etc/security/limits.conf:

do you have ssh access to your webspace?

I am not sure of the ssh access, but the website got live again just a few seconds ago. I called Godaddy  helpline, and while I was talking to them, the error was gone although they said there were no changes made from their end. 

 

I am not sure how it started working again and I am pretty sure it will happen again like the error 500 is contineously bugging me, but for now it is working.
