Remove {id} on CMS Friendly URL

Recommended Posts

Hi

I just check Prestashop 1.6

I use Prestashop from 1.3 and for the first time this is an upgrade not a remake :)

I just need to have the capacity to remove the {id} on the /content/{id}-CMS

Comon, that feature will refine Prestashop a lot!

Is this possible? And this Prestashop looks like WP, Prestashop 1.6 will do very fine.

Thanks

Daniel

You can try this module http://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-prestashop-modules/16928-advanced-url.html

With this module, you can remove {id} from any friendly url, like:

CMS content view: /content/policy.html

or you can try change prefix: /info/policy.html

This module also prevent duplicate friendly url at back office.

what ps verison you use exactly? (1.6.x) ?

Hi Vekia,

Please i have a problem, I used this cleanurl and it worked fine, but after i had my SSL certificate installed and i activated the SSL from the BO and also Enabled the 'force SSL on all pages' then i noticed that all pages of my shop returns this error:

This webpage has a redirect loop

But if i disable it, everything works fine.

Please do you have an idea on how i can work around this?

You can also try this module http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/302441-module-prestashop-pretty-urls-by-fmemodules/ .

With this module, you can remove {id} & {numbers} from any friendly URLs, like: CMS, manufacturer & supplier, category and product pages.

Modules works on 1.5 and 1.6.x

i Think, the module that you gave us the link is not working

please give us a correct Module LINK

hello,

about what module you're talking? i cant find any module in this thread :/ or i missed something?

Hi Vekia. Of course there are modules in this thread. Since it's zipped packages and can be uploaded through BO -> modules, we can call it modules, right? :D

There is good solution for 1.6.0.11 here. You have all instructions in readme (important!), remember to maintain correct folder structure in zip uploaded through modules.

Full post from creator of this contribution can be found here.

You guys can try this one on 1.6.0.9 and let others know if it works ;)
