After upgrading to 1.5.6.1 Product images missing from website

I just upgraded to 1.5.6.1 from 1.5.6.0 Some of the pictures are missing from my website and question mark is appeared. There us no legacy system or move images available in preference page. Last time it was there I think when I upgraded to 1.5.6.0 but now it is missing. I still regenerated the images but still images are missing. What should I do ????

 

Ofcourse I pressed control + F5 but images are still missing

make sure that home_default imagetype is defined under preferences > images tab

I think it is already defined

 

Last time there was an option of move images it is not there any more.

 

I tried to regenerate the images but it is still same question mark instead of images

I have roled back to previous version. I got back my images too. I will not update any new version form now on. It seems there is an issue with this updation 1.5.6.1.

 

I tried all form of solution mentioned in this forum.

control + F5 cleared cashe

regenration of images

Changing the date to back date config < setting.inc.php back date

controler<adminimagecontroler< changed line 56 to true;

Changed legacy from no to yes then again to no

then moved  images

then regenrated

then again tried the legacy thing

then again control + F5 to clear cashe

 

nothing absolutely nothing changed from question mark to my images

 

whats more the updation gave me errors too ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Gosh I hope nothing is wrong with my website

 

so had to role back.

 

My advise to people don't update to this version till Presta shop themselves say that this issue has been resolved.

I wrote to even their tech team but they ignored my request it seems. I never heard from them.

Hi,

I have the same problem; after upgrade form 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.6.1 all images was not found. In back office was not possible to proceed with image regeneration as images was not found in the original directories:

 

Original image is missing or empty (/home/gdb/root/e-shop/img/p/5/0/50.jpg)

 

 

 

1/2 year ago I upgraded form 1.4.7.0 to 1.5.4.1 maybe is related to old file system, but is only my guess.

Well, I found the images in /img/p/ directory named as:

50-238.jpg

50-238-home_default.jpg

50-238-large_default.jpg

...

 

 

some chance to rebuild the file structure?

Hi,

just found a solution for me, maybe will be usefull for someone...

 

1) Move images (Preferences  Images); I probably switch to new file system in my previous PS...

2) Regenerate thumbnails (no error found    )

3) Legacy image filesystem -> NO

 

Save, refresh, works.

this has happened to me also.  So I tried moving, regenerating (timed out multiple times), Legacy Image filesystem NO. This regenerated the majority back onto webpage, although not all thumbnails as images in the backend products list are missing.

 

The main problem still exists with the (20%) most recently added products still showing the ? avatar.  

 

I tried deleting and reloading the images via products. nothing.

I have the same error after restoring my database from a backup. Did you get this fixed? I'm using version 1.5.6.1.

 

I created a back up from within presta shop admin panel. When restoring the back up I noticed all the images in the Front office were question marks, tried to regenerate images but get this error. Original image is missing or empty (/httpdocs/img/p/1/0/3/103.jpg). Now when navigating to this directory on the server it is not there. The images are named simular to

 

50-238.jpg

50-238-home_default.jpg

50-238-large_default.jpg

50-238-small_default.jpg

 

Please let me know how to fix asap.

Preferences => SEO & URL =>  friendly urls  "NO"

Preferences => SEO & URL => Accented URL "No"

Preferences => SEO & URL => Automatically redirect to the canonical URL "No"

Hi, I have same issue too (Version 1.5.6.1) after redirect URL Anyone can help ?

1) The BackOffice all Product description and CMS content is missing. 
    The Front Office some picture is gone and replaced by tiny black question mark.--> ���
   

2) ERROR LOG show as below after regenerate thumbnails 
 

File does not exist: /home/.../public_html/262-home_default

File does not exist: /home/.../public_html/229-large_default
File does not exist: /home/..../public_html/192-medium_default

File does not exist: /home/...../public_html/234-large_default

File does not exist: /home/..../public_html/135-thickbox_default
