painfully slow loading - time to first byte issue

We regularly experience extremely slow loading times (sometimes more than 20 seconds) which is significantly hampering sales growth.

 

Hoping someone can assist with speeding up the time to first byte.

I'm getting about 2s delay, could be also the hosting load... can't tell

 

however what I notice your website tries to load a script called jirafe which fails but the page waits for it for quite a while. 

maybe you can simply remove it from your theme.

for me first load: 3sec

all others 1-2 sec

as written previously I get the same, maybe that's because he said: sometimes -  that's why I suggested a hosting issue. Any ideas from your experience?
