Stuck in Step 6 of Insillation process 23%

Hi all,

 

I have tried twice now to install PrestaShop and each time I get this error:

 

1. Cannot install language "English (English)"

 

It stops at 23% Can anyone offer any solutions or suggestions here? It is much appreciated

Hi, how did you download PrestaShop, how are you installing, what kind of server are you on, what is your permission set.

 

Usually, if you are installing via FTP then I would first say to re-download, re-upload to your FTP and reinstall as some files may have gotten corrupted.

 

If you are installing another way please let me know.

Thank you for your quick response. Yes I downloaded and installed it via FTP.  However, for some reason I couldn't upload the zip file directly. So it took over 2 hours to upload since I had to unzip it first and there were over 6000 files inside. I will go ahead and re download it again, I sure hope it works this time.

if your host has a control panel similar with cpanel you may be able to unzip from there....
