Don't actually understand your question

What is the error message shown if any?! precisely??

At stage 3 of installation, did you manage to verify your database by clicking on "Verify now!" which should show "Database is connected" After that, when you click next button, what happen? Try this with Configure SMTP box unchecked.

Yes, have tried on Reallauncher's installation and it stalls at stage 3.

Have notice the following statement : "Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit" appearing at stage 2-3 [system and permission] checking.

Could someone confirm if it has to do with issue on MySQL and PHP 5.2.5 interaction. If so how to get about this problem?! ; if not what could be the problem.!

:)

I posted this on a similar thread, maybe it will help:
=====================================

This is wierd! I had the same problem, I couldn’t get past step 3 of installation. The database and tables were created, but I couldn’t create a user in step 4.

I changed the php.ini as suggested earlier and that didn’t work either

However, I did find a solution to my problem! For some reason in my Firefox 3.5.3 and in Internet Explorer 8 I could not get past step 3, but in Opera 10 I had success without changing anything internally.

Why would that be?
