1.5.6.1 upgrade from 1.4.7

Well after a lot of jumping through hoops I finally have a working 1.5.6.1 with all products from my 1.4.7 site.

So I thought I would share the efforts for a little while, and show you my mods to the standard theme.

First note that I modified the 3 column theme to a 2 column theme. (easy peasy)

I added a On SALE banner to the featured products and product list similar to the NEW banner but in the bottom left corner.

(I removed the ON SALE from the right side price block in product list)

Modified the product list page to fill out the wider center column.

I added Part#'s and available quantity to the product list.

Added Retail Price: and Your Price to the Featured Products and product list.

I added Name and Phone # to the contact form.

I completely re-positioned the header area and added a Home to the permanent links.

The New Products block is one I modified and is available here on the forum.

Modified the social block to a 32x32 icon and added some other icon links also available here on the forum.

Changed the Newsletter block to match the other header colors and layout.

Moved the cart from header to left column (my preference)

Added Search entire store... to header search block.

and more.

If anyone wants to know how I did any of this just ask.

Have not tested with anything other then Chrome so if you see an issue with another browser please let me know.
