Optimus_Sam
Hi guys, I'm looking for investing in an "mass/quick edit module" for my webshop. Does anybody have experience with such modules? Which ones are crap and which can you recommend? This could be a helpfull topic for everyone who's looking for something like this. I'm planning on buying the DMU Module, certified by Prestashop. However i'm stumbling upon lots of bad reviews about the module being insufficient. Let's help each other. Sam EDIT: So i bought this module and since there is no information out there about this module i'll try and help you guys from here. Cos i bought it anyways, i might as well share the intell Edited December 13, 2013 by Optimus_Sam (see edit history)
El Patron
I bought a module for mass updating specific pricing, mainly because I do a lot of geo targeting and this let's me do it easily. I don't have a lot of products but I can certainly see where ps lacks in bulk updates... If you see a module that you are interested in and are a little worried about buying/installing one, I would email the developer first for any questions and also to gauge how long support takes to respond.

El Patron
yes, let us know...I keep asking for images by language for shops and we can see this issue on addon's, i.e. french screen shots...not english or whatever language we enter with....ave maira... I honestly don't know how anyone can manage even smaller shops without some bulk updater... Let us know how it goes!

And installation went good. it's half in french and half in english. Lucky for me i speak both . So that's a note. secondly i seem to have a lot of "jibberish" that doesn't seem to belong there. i'll add a screenshot so u can see what i mean. I purchased the module with one year license updates. So i hope they fix that soon. Ok, that's it for now. I'm gonna try and bulk edit some products. Keep you guys posted. If anyone else has questions, shoot! And please stop emailing me about "sharing" the module. I really wish i could but i bought a ONE LICENSE thing so seriously i can't do that Sam

Constantino
I’ve extended Prestashop functionality with a help of additional software - Store Manager for PrestaShop. It’s great for bulk updates, products export/import, certified by Prestashop and has a very reasonable price. http://www.prestashopmanager.com/prestashop-mass-product-changer/

DDD
Not at all happy with DMU quick admin module. It can not handle Advanced stock management and the developers don't even answer questions.
