Can't edit products on fresh install: PS 1.5.6.0

Hi,

 

I installed a clean version of PS 1.5.6.0.

 

Two problems:

When I try to edit a product, and click on a tab like price, SEo, associations or quantity, the page 'freezes'. Nothing happens, the page isn't loaded.

 

Also, I had some trouble logging in the backoffice. After clearing cookies it was resolved, but it doesn't seem very stable.

 

The configuration information reveals this:

I tested the php settings with a php.info file, and allow_url_fopen seems to be on.

 

I also enabled the debugging mode. First it came up with an curl_exec issue, but my hosting company resolved this issue. It didn't seem to cause any of the problems.

 

Is there any logical problem/solution to these issues?

Problem solved:

 

While installing I would get an error at 23% that it couldn't install my local language (Dutch).

So I chose English and proceeded.

Now I went to 'Localization' and imported the localization pack for my country. I chose the corresponding language. After this I can completely edit the products.
