tdelios
HI All.. I've been looking around for some paid modules and noticed from the addons.prestashop.com site that some vendors have a "PrestaShop Certified" stamp of approval. I have a few questions on this. 1. What defines the modules "PrestaShop Certified" apposed to those that are not certified? 2. Why is it that I cannot find these within the 'Modules' section of my backoffice admin user interface? 3. From anybodys' experience. How gracefully can someone upgrade versions of their PrestaShop without any issues when they have these customized modules installed in their backoffice. Thanks Tom
NemoPS
Hi! Prestashop certofoed modules have simply been examined and approved directly by the prestashop team. As far as I know, it's up to prestashop to choose which ones they want to certify, but there is not real difference between certified and non-certified modules. Secondly, not all modules are listed in the back office, even if connected to your account. You should in any case be able to find the if you search directly from the back office on the addons store. Lastly, how smooth you can upgrade depends on how much these modules affect the system (use of deprecated function, overrides...)
