Quantity Product updates automatically Price Product

Hello ....

 

I need to update automatically the price of the product, when the client selects more than 1 product.

 

For example, if the product costs 10€ and he chooses 2, the price change to 20€.

 

I think it can be made using Ajax or Smarty but not sure...

Yes but in that case the price is not updated automatically in product.tpl

just wondering what you mean by "not updating in product.tpl"

this code is a script to update price of product while you're on product page and if you  change quantity field value there

We would like the quantity option next to the add to cart button where the user can specify the quantity and press add to cart and the specific quantity is added directly instead of the current option where you need to click the "Cart" to increase the quantity after pressing the initial add to cart option

We tried adding the quantity field box which you can see on the following page but which is currently not rightly placed...(http://imantra.in/khulla_kharido/en/3-atta)
But this doesn't work or is placed properly.. if you add a different quantity you will see that it does not add that specific quantity.

Yes that is exactly what im looking for. But it only updates the price when you choose an attribute like weight, but if you choose quantity the price stays the same.

I wonder if when the customer clicks the plus or minus button or enters a quantity the price will refresh, and the update it accordingly.

I know this topic is a bit old, but I'd like to know if anyone has solved this problem.

 

The sequence is this:

 

1) I want to buy two items from a product

2) The price of the product is 2 $/Kg

3) I add two items, but the price in class="content_prices clearfix" -> class="price" remains exactly the same.

 

I know when you go to the shopping cart, the price is correct. At least for me, it would be great to guess how can I refresh that price automatically as the items increases.
