El Patron
We have customers that use catalog mode and we have modules that manipulate 'catalog mode' by session so having compliant catalog mode theme modules is of interest to me.. During testing I found the a couple of minor issues. All in all very happy with alpha testing in catalog mode. I am testing on local host so no access is possible. Thanks in advance. Currency block is displaying in catalog mode. http://screencast.com/t/nw8bs8SbXt The front page looks great in catalog mode but I found something I've never seen before. In English the landing page is perfect. I noticed however than when Spanish selected 'new products' display price and add to cart. In English, looks great http://screencast.com/t/DDsLRG6Ck In Spanish, displays prices add to cart etc for new products. I have never seen that happen before. I am running seven(7) languages and it's only on Spanish. Weird. http://screencast.com/t/MXs3PSRzqhv
prestamax
Currency block is displaying in catalog mode. http://screencast.com/t/nw8bs8SbXt The currency block is a module. You could just deactivate it. Some sellers want to use catalog mode by just removing cart functionality but want to show prices (this requires just a little change in the theme file). Then it can make sense to have the option to show the currency module. Since there is the option to just remove the currency module or to deactivate it I don't think there is a need to disallowing it completely in catalog mode. Yes, I know how to disable the currency module. I prefer that it disappear when in catalog mode for reasons given. Thanks
Dh42
Hmm I never knew catalog mode did not show prices. I would prefer pricing during catalog mode if I ever used it personally. Maybe there should be a disabling / enabling price option in catalog mode.

Dh42
Are you seeing the price on the product pages or just the pages covered by the product-list.tpl? I am actually getting the price in english on the product-list.tpl pages...
Vincent Terenti
Hi El Patron, Thanks for your feedback, i reported the fact that the block language and the block currency were not installed by default, it will be corrected. I think the issue with catalog mode and spanish language is already corrected because i can't reproduce it on the last git version. Best regards,

Best regards, thank you from all the catalog mode users in the world! yes, the language thing was just weird... not sure when is the best time to rebuild our alpha versions? or should we wait for beta? I will retest catalog mode when you all have moved along a bit further.
