claybourg
This may be related to my host Bluehost or not? When the site URL is www.claybourg.com, the front office works but the back office does not, all the java based stuff does not work. When the site URL is claybourg.com, without the www, or anything else for that matter, any fake IP, whatever, everything in the BO works fine, but then of course the front office does not work. I did not see that while I was developing the site as I used a temporary IP address and all was working fine. Since I put the site live with the URL as www.claybourg.com, I can't use the BO unless I kill the front office while I'm working, by changing the URL. copernicus
I had the same problem with the same web host about 3 years ago. Their support was unable to resolve the issue and that is probably the reason why you are posting your question in this forum. After reading this page I immediately decided to transfer my account to Linux Hosts Inc. Once my new hosting account was active the problem didn't occur anymore so I never found out what the exact cause was. It had probably to do with the web server settings. Good luck my friend! claybourg
I have a ticket open with them for 2 weeks and so far no resolution. What's crazy is that I left Netfirms as they do not enable SOAP on shared servers that is needed for the FedEx module and I went with bluehost because it is a recommended host for Prestashop but it does not seem compatible either. Ehinarr
Just to bump this old thread, but i had the same problem and I solved it by correcting the base url. The shop was in a folder and the base url was just "/" instead of "/shop/".
