medred
Hello everyone. While I set the default language to Greek, the browser loads the en as default. Perhaps it has something to do with detecting browser’s language. I tried to clear cache, force compilation, new htaccess or clear browser’s history but the problem is still there, every time I install ps 1.5.6.1. This solution didn’t work for me. -> https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/198e75245d83ff11bb29dfdc1095a91a56fd83cf Thanks in advanced. medred
I am located in Greece. All browsers with English language work as it should be. Problem apears when a browser is using the Greek language. For example Firefox with Greek language redirects to en and not to default el language. Note: delete it when no longer needed for the discussion. Note: if you change your browser language to Greek, you will need to clear your browser cookie because PS remembers you language. medred
I had the same problem in more than one domain. I also checked this on different PCs. In some cases there is a redirection to en which is not the default language. Edited December 6, 2013 by medred (see edit history)
El Patron
I set my IE to Greek and then visited your shop. The screen shot shows my results. Is this what you had hoped to see? It did not 'redirect' to /en http://screencast.com/t/Sjib8cXL2I4
medred
Seems Firefox is behaving weird. I will try to make a few tests and I will let you know the next few days. Probably there is nothing wrong with Prestashop. Thank you both for your time.
