2 Problems

1. I cannot get products to display on my homepage. I have followed everything posted its not working.

 

2. on the new registrant process in the form I want to remove these checkboxes :

 Receive special offers from our partners!

 

 

Can I remove them easily?

have you assigned any products to category 'home'?  These will be considered featured products for display.

2. If you are using the default checkouts that come standard with PS you will need to edit your template files.

 

For the standard 5 step checkout, bellini13, nails it pretty good here,

For the OPC, (one page checkout) look in the same thread post #8 by user scruft.

 

Personally I prefer using one of the OPC modules from the addon store,

They mostly come with options that allow for more control. They frankly work and look much better than the default. Plus they mostly allow you to turn things on or off without needing to edit theme files.

1. I think you have not hooked the homefeatured module. Please go to Modules->Modules and Search for "Featured Products on Home". Please install the module (you might want to uninstall and install it again).

 

2. If you disable Newsletter Module and Block Newsletter Module in Modules->Modules. Those 2 lines won't appear.
