Help on Combinations

HI:

 

Newbie here, but with some excel skills.

I am having a problem bringing in two different attributes when I upload from a CSV file.

Both attributes  (color and size) are already defined in the system

This is what I am putting into the CSV.

 

 102 Size:select:1,Color:select:1 XSmall:1,Red:1

 

102 Size:select:2,Color:select:2 Small:2,Green:2

 

102 Size:select:3,Color:select:3 Medium:3,Blue:3

 

102 Size:select:4,Color:select:4 Large:4,Black:4

 

 

These are in different columns:

Product No is102

The numbers after the attributes are the position.

Only the first attribute appears in my site.  What am I doing wrong?

Also, when I update the combinations, it repeats the attributes giving me twice as many attributes in the product than I should have.  Is there a way to only overwrite?

Are u trying to import combinations ? I am afraid we cannot do that. Here are the list of fields that are available for products to be imported.

I don't think I am trying to import combinations.  I am trying to input 2 attibute values (e.g. small, red) on one line like many of the examples shown in the forum and can't seem to get the hang of it.  I am sure I am just one comma or colon away.

 

Any other suggestions?

Can u explain with a screenshot, what you are trying ? I am not able to get what you were trying.
