PayPal USA/Canada (v.1.2.7) - error "The seller accepts encrypted website payments only."

Ok, now I'm sad....

 

Paypal was working fine (finally) and yet on a fresh install of 1.5.6.1 I find Paypal has transformed into PAYPAL USA/CANADA and of course, the old module is gone.

 

I'm in the UK, so what's that all about? Paypal don't care to support PS users in the rest of the world?

Do I now have to pay £137 to get it to work in the UK? (on install, it seems to work in the UK, so why call it US/CANADA?)

 

Anyhow, I activated the module, configured it for turbo payments, and standard gateway with API credentials.

 

I notice if both options are activated, then I get an error when choosing the standard gateway to pay at paypal...(and two paypal buttons at the bottom of the express checkout, which seems a bit senseless)

 

"The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through unencrypted buttons"

 

And then if I apply only the express payment option, it all appears to work.

 

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
