damian5000
The import feature for prestashop has no way to delimit text, so it's just lumping the paragraphs into one big block. It looks bad and it's hard to follow. Is there any way to get the breaks imported? damian5000
Bump. Anyone? This seems important, to be able to add line breaks on an import with short-descriptions and descriptions... Anybody have any ideas?
Dh42
You can use html to import the line breaks.
damian5000
you mean, include html directly into the descriptions in the csv/spreadsheet. correct?
Dh42
Correct, you can use <br> for a line break, or you can use rich html text for your descriptions.
damian5000
awww man. This is awesome. My site just improved 10-fold. It looked terrible with all the paragraphs running together. I was skeptical it would actually work, but <br> works great. I'm not sure what you mean about using rich text... I mean, I understand what it is, but I didn't know that could be embedded in .csv... Or are you referring to importing it some other way.
