ledaanbieder
We have got a major problem with our multisite of 'ledaanbieder.nl'. The thing is that when we go to a category in the Horizontal Topmenu, it is redirecting to the 404-errorpage. But when a product is mentioned on the frontpage (Featured Product), you can easily go to this product. Why can't we use our categories? We already tried to remove the .htaccess file, install PS 1.5.6.1 again, disable the 'Friendly URL's' etc. but none seem to work. Also the .htaccess has the following code: " #If rewrite mod isn't enabled ErrorDocument 404 /index.php?controller=404 " Does this line cause the problem? The thing is, I am almost certain that the rewrite works normal... so why do only categories work like this? ledaanbieder
The thing that caused this behavior was that there were too many categories in the database. Furthermore these were imported via a script. I've deleted many categories and started making new ones. That solved the issue!
