bullywug
We've been using Prestashop 1.5.2.0 on a shared hosting plan with Hostpapa. It has always been way too slow for Prestashop and we've been planning to move to a new hosting company/plan in January. I've been trying to research what would be the best setup for us, but I can't really find any information. We average around 300 customers a day and have about 1000 items in our catalog. I was hoping that someone here would be kind enough to suggest the type of hosting plan we should be looking at. I appreciate your suggestions. vekia
two simple questions: 1) your budget 2) where your customers are located
ibndawood
I have 2000+ products and about 3000-5000 orders a month. I use a dedicated server from Godaddy. But when I started I had a shared hosting (JustHost) and then moved to VPS (I think Level 3 in HostGator) and now using a dedicated server. Dh42
I would recommend webhostingbuzz as a good hosting company.

bullywug
two simple questions: 1) your budget 2) where your customers are located We are currently spending about $12.00 a month for shared hosting. I'm willing to go up to $40.00 a month if necessary. Our customers are global but we target Canadian customers, though we do get some US, French, Japanese, Mexican, etc. orders. As it stands I'm leaning toward a VPS with HostGator. I would prefer a Canadian host but given how badly burned we got with HostPapa I'm more inclined to go with a well reviewed host. Thanks for your feedback guys.
EGBee
I recommend Bluehost. Their Customer Support is just Awesome. Even sometimes they will help you fix database errors as well.
