VapeCrushers
I am running on a dedicated server configured for PrestaShop. My install was brand clean 1.5.6 and only had one theme applied: Responsive Quality Images After I installed the Module and played with the settings down below, this is what I am getting: ....................................................................... Analyzing the situation ...Shop deactivated. Now downloading (this can takes some times )...[Ajax / Server Error for action download] textStatus: "error " errorThrown:"Internal Server Error " jqXHR: " Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.26 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.26 OpenSSL/1.0.0-fips mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_fcgid/2.3.6 Server at vapecrushers.com Port 80" ........................................................................... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I can do the manual upgrade, just didn't want to waste a couple hours if I didn't have to... Also I cannot find good documentation on just doing an upgrade on the SERVER. I have mirrors and images, so I do not need to do it locally. Is there any quick and dirty way to just one way shove the upgrade up to the site via ftp? thanks so much!
Dh42
What does your php error log say the issue is?

Dh42
Its not in Prestashop it is in the logs on your server. It us usually stored in the apache directory.
kpham501
I had a similiar problem. Hopefully you backed up your database and downloaded off your server before upgrading. Mine failed because I didn't have enough disk space on my server to unpack the new version and install it. Hopefully that's not your issue. tuk66
Always use the latest version of the module from https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-modules/tree/master/autoupgrade. There are some serious bugs in older versions.
