At the 3# step , i faced a problem , ----------------------------------------------- PHP parameters: Cannot create new files and folders ----------------------------------------------- i have google this problem http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/215252-can-create-new-files-and-folders-error-with-easily/ but my server supplier told me that they can't modify this parameter! ibndawood
There are a couple of workarounds. I don't really like both of them. You can set the permission of the file via filezilla (or any FTP client) Or you can install prestashop locally on your system and then migrate it to the server.

I agree with you, these are last resort ways of doing it. If it was me and mine? (without boring you with the technical reasons) is to find another hosting company.
