Help!PHP parameters:Cannot create new files and folders

Hi ! Who can give me a help !

Today i have download the newest version of prestashop 1.5.6.1 .

Upload to my server and began to install.......

At the 3# step , i faced a problem ,

i have google this problem

but my server supplier told me that they can't modify this parameter!

What should i do ? Who can give me a suggestion? Thanks a lot.

There are a couple of workarounds. I don't really like both of them.

 

• You can set the permission of the file via filezilla (or any FTP client)
• Or you can install prestashop locally on your system and then migrate it to the server.

I agree with you, these are last resort ways of doing it.

 

If it was me and mine? (without boring you with the technical reasons) is to find another hosting company.

Thanks for your suggestion, but i have already paied the money to my hosting supplier. I will try to install in local then upload these files. Thanks a lost !
